Kentucky Moves up One Spot in the Updated AP Poll

The Kentucky Wildcats moved up one spot to No. 9 in the updated Associated Press Poll.

 

Kentucky owns a 7-1 record on the season after a 90-44 win vs. Monmouth and a 78-61 victory vs. UNCG at Rupp Arena.

 

John Calipari’s Wildcats began the season ranked second in the AP Poll before a blowout loss to Duke in the season opener. Kentucky remained steady at No. 10 for three weeks.

 



 

The Wildcats have plenty of opportunities to secure quality victories the next four weeks. Kentucky will return to action vs. Seton Hall at Madison Square Garden in New York on Saturday.

 

In this weeks AP Poll, Kentucky will play No. 2 Kansas, No. 7 Tennessee (twice), No. 8 Auburn (twice), No. 24 North Carolina, and No. 22 Mississippi State (twice).
