The college basketball preseason AP Poll was released on Monday and the first game of the season features a matchup of the top two teams in the country.
The Kentucky Wildcats check in at No. 2 in the first poll of the season. Michigan State, the Wildcats first opponent of the regular season, is ranked No. 1.
Kentucky and Michigan State are set to battle in the State Farm Champions Classic on Tuesday, November 5th at Madison Square Garden. Tip-off is set for 9:30 p.m. ET. on ESPN.
The Champions Classic should be worth the price of admission. The first matchup of the night features the 3rd and 4th ranked teams, the Kansas Jayhawks and Duke Blue Devils.
