The Kentucky/Michigan game scheduled for London in December will be pushed back to December 2022, according to Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe.
Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports that Kentucky and Michigan will not move the on-campus matchups to the 2020-21 season. Instead, the three-game series between the Wildcats and Wolverines will begin with the 2021-22 season.
Rothstein reports the following schedule for the series.
2021-22: Kentucky at Michigan (Ann Arbor, Michigan)
2022-23: Kentucky vs. Michigan (O2 Arena, London)
2023-24: Michigan at Kentucky (Lexington, Kentucky)
The change to the schedule leaves an open December date for Kentucky’s 2020-21 schedule. Kentucky will have to fill that date with a non-conference matchup for Saturday, December 6th.
