LEXINGTON, Ky- The Kentucky Wildcats made SEC history Saturday afternoon, picking up their 1,000th win in SEC history.

The Wildcats are the first SEC program to reach 1,000 wins and it will be a long time before someone joins them. Alabama, who the Wildcats defeated 76-67 on Saturday at Rupp Arena, is the next closest SEC program to 1,000 wins (792).

The win is another milestone added to a long list of accomplishments for the Kentucky men’s basketball program.

Immanuel Quickley led the way offensively with 19 points, including 5-of-6 from three-point range. Ashton Hagans fell just shy of a triple-double, totaling 15 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists.
