Kentucky Takes Over First Place in SEC Race

After a wild Saturday full of upsets in the SEC, the Kentucky Wildcats are now alone in first place in the SEC standings.

Kentucky defeated Ole Miss 67-62 at Rupp Arena Saturday afternoon, improving to 20-5 overall and 10-2 in SEC play.

Meanwhile, Auburn and LSU both dropped games Saturday, breaking a three-way tie atop the SEC standings. Both teams are now 9-3 in SEC play.

Alabama defeated LSU 88-82 in Tuscaloosa and Missouri knocked off Auburn 85-73 in Columbia.

On a Saturday full of upsets around the SEC, Kentucky deserves credit for finding a way to win an ugly game at Rupp Arena.

Up next for Kentucky is a Tuesday night road trip to LSU. Tip-off is at 9 p.m. ET. on ESPN.
