Kentucky Falls Five Spots in Latest AP Poll

After a 77-75 road loss at Alabama to begin SEC play, the Kentucky Wildcats dropped in the latest Associated Press poll.

The Wildcats close loss causes them to drop five spots to No. 18, after climbing to No. 13 following wins vs. North Carolina and Louisville.

Most will say rankings don’t matter and technically, they’re inconsistent. Kansas lost to Iowa State by 17 points on Saturday but only dropped two spots to No. 7. Nevada lost to New Mexico (a 7-6 team) by 27 points and dropped four spots to No. 10.
