Kentucky and Duke Both Ranked in AP Poll for the First Time in 61 Years

Kentucky and Duke Included Together in AP Poll for First Time Since September 1957

The Kentucky Wildcats and Duke Blue Devils will hit the hardwood in a few weeks, but both fan bases are dreaming big dreams in college football.

While both fan bases are anxiously awaiting the November 6th basketball matchup, football season is turning out to be quite the story for both programs.

When the AP Poll released on Sunday, Kentucky (No. 17) and Duke (No. 22) were ranked together for the first time since September 14, 1957. Meanwhile, the two schools have been ranked in the same basketball AP Poll 547 times since 1957.

This is the first time Duke and Kentucky have been ranked in the same football AP poll since the Sept. 14, 1957 poll.

They have been ranked in the same basketball AP poll 547 teams in that span.
