Kentucky Makes a Big Jump in Latest AP Poll Rankings

The Kentucky Wildcats had their struggles with Texas A&M and Vanderbilt, but used strong second halves to secure two home SEC victories.

In a bit of a surprise, the Wildcats jumped six spots to No. 12 in the latest Associated Press poll. Behind Tennessee at No. 3, Kentucky is the second highest ranked team from the SEC, ahead of Auburn No. 14, Ole Miss No. 18, and Mississippi State No. 24.

Kentucky travels to Georgia for an SEC battle on Tuesday night, before a big road matchup at Auburn on Saturday.
