Kentucky basketball summer workouts begin June 2nd

It’s hard to believe it’s been more than two months since the Kentucky basketball season came to an end. There are still a lot of questions surrounding next season’s roster, but within the next week we should have an idea who will be on the team.

On June 2nd, Kentucky’s 2018 recruiting class will step foot on campus. Immanuel Quickley, Tyler Herro, Keldon Johnson, E.J. Montgomery, and Zan Payne will all arrive in Lexington for summer workouts. 2019 UK commit Ashton Hagans will join them later this summer after his reclassification is finalized.

The Kentucky Basketball twitter account has been posting countdowns videos the last couple of weeks. The most recent one was posted Saturday morning.

The returning players will accompany the freshman class on campus. It remains to be seen if PJ Washington, Wenyen Gabriel, and Jarred Vanderbilt will be joining them. Those decisions will all be revealed by May 30th, the final day to withdraw from the 2018 NBA Draft.
