Kentucky signees Keldon Johnson and Immanuel Quickley are already becoming fan favorites and they haven’t even stepped foot on campus in Lexington.
Fans got a great look at both during the McDonald’s events earlier this week. Overtime was on site all week in Atlanta and in every video or picture that was posted, Quickley and Johnson were together. They even did a little trash talking to future Vanderbilt guard Darius Garland.
After kicking Kansas signee Devon Dotson out of their video, they trashed talked Garland by taking shots at Vanderbilt’s overall record this past season, which Quickley believed was 13-18. Close enough, the Commodores finished with a 12-20 record.
