Julius Randle Led Knicks to a Win Just Days after Losing his Grandmother

Former Kentucky Wildcat Julius Randle had an emotional return to the basketball floor Sunday night.

Randle’s grandmother passed away earlier this week and he found out after the Knicks loss to the Lakers last Tuesday. Following the loss, Randle left the team to be with his family. He made his return Sunday night vs. the Miami Heat.

Randle scored a team-high 26 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished out four assists in the win.

Following the game, Randle had his son with him on the floor and they walked off hand in hand.
