Jordan Jones is ready to go vs. Mississippi State

Kentucky linebacker Jordan Jones hasn’t suited up for the Wildcats since injuring his shoulder versus Eastern Kentucky on September 9th. That will change on Saturday, as the Wildcats emotional leader on defense will be back in action. Defensive coordinator Matt House provided the update after practice on Wednesday, saying, “He (Jones) looks good and is ready to go on Saturday.”

In his absence, the Wildcats turned to sophomore Eli Brown, who made an impact for Kentucky. Brown answered the bell, helping the Wildcats to a 3-1 record without Jones.

Now that Jones returns, the Wildcats should be at full strength defensively, which is something they haven’t been able to say since week two. His leadership and voice will be key, as the Wildcats enter the toughest environment they have faced this season. It will be great to see #34 out there making plays on Saturday.
