John Calipari Hears Laurel but he Heard Something Different at First
Yanny or laurel? That’s been the question the last 48 hours. The sound clip took the internet by storm Tuesday morning and it’s what everyone is talking about. Even John Calipari has listened, but he heard something different the first time he listened.

Calipari said the first time he listened to the audio he thought he heard five-star, but the second time it says laurel. I can see why he thought it said five-star, he’s landed three in five weeks.
The head coach has been extra swaggy the last few weeks and for good reason. Calipari has landed five-stars E.J. Montgomery, Ashton Hagans, and Tyrese Maxey since April 9th. This is the third epic tweet that Calipari has sent out since Montgomery and Hagans got the ball rolling with their commitments in early April.

Calipari’s first tweet hinted that the Wildcats weren’t finished on the recruiting trail and that proved to be true when Maxey committed last week. The UK coach is feeling good and that’s dangerous for everyone else. Hide your five-stars, Calipari is coming for them.
