The 2018 NBA Draft was another successful one for Kentucky and John Calipari.
Kevin Knox, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Hamidou Diallo were all selected. Wenyen Gabriel was the only UK entry not selected but he will join a team for NBA summer league action.
With the NBA Draft complete, Calipari now begins to focus on the upcoming 2018-19 season. He’s even going to spend more time with the team this summer to build something special. He said the following Friday morning.
“Now my work begins on next year’s team. With the added hours, I’m going to spend more time in the summer than I normally do trying to create something special. This team is as hungry as any team as I’ve coached, individually and collectively. They inspire me to want to do more.”
