Ashton Hagans announced on Tuesday that he will return to Kentucky for his sophomore season.

The decision provides clarity on what Kentucky’s roster will look like next season with Hagans at the point.

John Calipari had the following to say about Hagans decision to return.

“I had a great meeting with Ashton Hagans. He had a wonderful season but he’s not satisfied. He said his desire was to come back and continue to grow and do some special things at Kentucky. That’s all I needed to hear. He’s ready for the challenge, and I’m all in with him.”

Hagans decision came after PJ Washington announced he will declare for the 2019 NBA draft. Keldon Johnson and Tyler Herro are the two remaining players with NBA decisions to make and I would expect those to come this week.
