Earlier this week, John Calipari’s name was left off the list of candidates for Naismith Coach of the Year.
Despite having his Wildcats in the hunt for a No. 1 seed, Calipari’s name was missing when the list was released, while Coach K, Roy Williams, Rick Barnes, and twelve other coaches were included.
Calipari was asked about being left off the list during Friday’s press conference previewing Saturday’s matchup at Tennessee.
The UK head coach could care less about winning Coach of the Year and would rather bring home a National Championship.
