The 2019-2020 Kentucky Wildcats will be introduced to the Big Blue Nation during Friday nights Big Blue Madness event at Rupp Arena.
There will be plenty of dancing, competitions and scrimmaging, the annual traditions at Big Blue Madness, but there will also be John Calipari’s speech to the Big Blue Nation.
With a number of top 2020 and 2021 recruiting targets on campus this weekend, Calipari will deliver his message that Kentucky isn’t for everyone and that it’s a special place that prepares those that can accept things will be hard.
Whatever Calipari decides to say to 20,500 fans at Rupp Arena and millions listening around the world tonight, everyone will leave ready for the start of college basketball season.
Calipari spent Thursday night rehearsing in front of an empty Rupp Arena.
