The Kentucky Wildcats were able to survive and advance past an upset minded Davidson team on Thursday night in Boise, winning by a score of 78-73.
Kentucky got a big night from freshman forward Kevin Knox, who scored a game-high 25 points, including 16 in the second half. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander flirted with a triple double, adding 19 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists to go along with five steals.
Kentucky advances to play the winner of Buffalo/Arizona on Saturday at Taco Bell Arena in Boise, Idaho.
