Kentucky’s 2018-2019 basketball roster is a little more clear after yesterday’s NBA Draft decisions.
Jarred Vanderbilt and Wenyen Gabriel decided to join Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Kevin Knox, and Hamidou Diallo in the draft while PJ Washington removed his name.
While some questioned the decisions of Vanderbilt and Gabriel, John Calipari believes they are making the best decision for their situations. According to Calipari, Vanderbilt received some positive feedback from the NBA and Gabriel wants to help his family financially.
Calipari spoke about the decisions in a short video earlier today. He also touched on the return of a Washington and what it means moving forward.
