John Calipari didn’t know what to Think about a Quiet Gym

John Calipari’s Kentucky Wildcats took care of business in the Bahamas, finishing the trip with a perfect 4-0 record.

Following the trip, players went their separate ways to return home for a few weeks before classes begin later this month. When Calipari walked into his office, he realized he didn’t hear basketballs bouncing in the gym.

Got to my office tonight and got worried because I noticed that, for the first time all summer, I didn't hear balls bouncing in the gym. Then I realized all my guys went home to see their families.

It’s a good thing that Calipari finds it odd to not hear basketballs on the gym floor.
