John Calipari Reached another Coaching Milestone in Win vs. Ole Miss

John Calipari reached another career milestone during the Kentucky Wildcats 67-62 win vs. Ole Miss at Rupp Arena Saturday afternoon.

The victory improved the Wildcats to 20-5 (10-2) on the season, giving Calipari his 26th consecutive on-court 20-win season.

Calipari’s streak of 26 straight seasons with at least 20 victories is the longest streak of any active coach in college basketball, ahead of Mike Krzyzewski (24) and Bill Self (22).

The last time a Calipari coached team failed to win at least 20 games in a season was during the 89-90 season when his UMass Minutemen finished 17-14.

The victory keeps Kentucky on pace with Auburn and LSU for the SEC regular season crown. Up next for the Wildcats is a road matchup in Baton Rouge Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET. on ESPN.
