On Saturday, the NCAA Selection Committee released the top-16 overall seeds (1-4 in each region) entering games played on Saturday, February 8th.

The Kentucky Wildcats were on the outside of the top-16 but have since moved in, according to Joe Lunardi’s latest update Sunday afternoon.

Four of the top-16 seeds – West Virginia, Villanova, Michigan State and Oregon – lost on Saturday. Lunardi says that opened two spots filled by Kentucky and Penn State. The Wildcats won 77-64 at Tennessee, their first win at Thompson-Boling Arena since 2015.

Lunardi’s Bracketology was a perfect 16/16 in predicting Saturday’s reveal of the top-16 seeds.

Lunardi hasn’t updated his entire field of 68 to show Kentucky as a No. 4 seed. His next bracket update is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET. on Monday.
