Joe Lunardi Already has a Bracketology for 2019. What?

Would you believe me if I told you Joe Lunardi has already released his way-too-early bracketology for the 2019 NCAA Tournament? Of course, you would because ESPN is that crazy.

For what it’s worth, which is absolutely nothing, Lunardi has the Wildcats as a No. 2 seed in the Midwest Region. Kentucky would open up the NCAA tournament in nearby Columbus, Ohio. That would be welcomed by Kentucky fans after the Wildcats were shipped to Boise for the opening weekend this season.

It is worth noting that the South Regional will be played at the Yum! Center in Louisville and if Kentucky can secure a No. 1 seed next season, it’s possible they land there. I wonder what Lunardi will think if Kevin Knox pulls a shocker and announces his return to Kentucky? However, Lunardi and ESPN thinks Kentucky will be among the best in college basketball next season. If 80 percent of the roster returns, I like their chances.
