Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats are still handing Louisville losses, as four-star defensive end JJ Weaver announced his commitment to the Wildcats Friday afternoon.

Weaver made his announcement at Moore Traditional High School in Louisville.

At 6-foot-6, 240-pounds, Weaver has the body to make an immediate impact at the next level. In recent years, Stoops has been successful landing guys on the defensive side of the ball that can make an immediate impact (Chris Oats, Josh Paschal, DeAndre Square, Quinton Bohanna, etc.).

The Wildcats have all the momentum with in-state recruiting right now and they could land another four-star defensive player on Thursday. Four-star Jared Casey, who recently de-committed from Oregon, will make his college announcement on December 6th.
