Jemarl Baker has Missed the Last 4-5 Practices

Kentucky redshirt freshman guard Jemarl Baker can’t catch a break when it comes to remaining on the court.

John Calipari updated his status on Wednesday and he has missed the last 4-5 days of practice because of swelling in his knee.

“Jemarl has not practiced probably for four or five days,” said Calipari. “His knee is swelled so he’s been out.”

Baker redshirted last season after missing the entire season due to a knee injury he suffered last October. He returned to the court earlier this spring and looked really good in videos. Let’s hope this is just a minor setback and he’s ready to roll in a couple of months.
