ESPN’s Jay Bilas is a popular topic in the state of Kentucky today and not for good reason.
Kentucky fans were upset with Bilas after the Kansas game for doing ESPN’s 94 ft feature with a Jayhawk player at Rupp Arena. This time it’s for arguing with John Calipari’s daughters on Twitter.
On Monday, the Oregonian published an article about the Adidas scandal and T.J. Gassnola. However, the picture that was used for the article included John Calipari, who has never been mentioned in the scandal.
Bilas linked the article to Twitter and Calipari’s daughters didn’t agree with picture that was used.
NCAA knew about T.J. Gassanola over a decade ago, yet did nothing. NCAA members partner with (sell players to) shoe companies, therefore, the NCAA does it. After all, NCAA is the members. So, what is the NCAA accountability? None. Asleep at the wheel. https://t.co/aSi319tqgI

So you’re telling me this is the only picture available of him? This picture. Where he is not even in focus but my dad is? Do better @Oregonian https://t.co/CqAiGnHQL8

Hi Jay! We did read the article. It didn’t mention our family, yet, the cover photo is of our dad front and center. I would love for you to start putting random people as the cover photos for all of your articles. @MeganteCalipari and I have some great headshots we can provide. https://t.co/UOytJdgaCK

Read the article. Or, have someone read it to you. The Oregonian isn’t out to get you.

Bilas will return to Rupp Arena next week for Kentucky’s big matchup with Tennessee.
