Kentucky freshman forward Jarred Vanderbilt will not participate in this weeks NBA Draft combine in Chicago. However, he is still weighing his options about staying in the draft. He announced his decision in a post to his Twitter account.

Vanderbilt, who played in just 14 games for the Wildcats last season, declared for the NBA Draft in April without hiring an agent. Doing so left the door open for a return to Kentucky. Fellow Wildcats PJ Washington and Wenyen Gabriel did the same.

The 6-foot-9 forward suffered a foot injury during preseason workouts in September, which kept him out of action until January 16th at South Carolina. Vanderbilt suffered another foot injury in March that ended his season.

Vanderbilt will have until May 30th to pull his name out of the NBA Draft.
