Former Kentucky Wildcat Isaiah Briscoe is fresh off a successful season overseas and now he’s trying to work his way to the NBA.

Briscoe left Kentucky after his sophomore year and spent some time with the Philadelphia 76ers last summer. However, after averaging 5.5 points per game during summer league action, he didn’t make the team. Briscoe also spent time with the Portland Trail Blazers during training camp.

The former UK guard is back in the states for another shot at making an NBA roster. According to John Calipari, Briscoe is working with the Orlando Magic with hopes of making the team.

Calipari will do everything he can to help Briscoe make it to the league. He was named the Russian Young Player of the Year after averaging 22 points, 4 assists, and 1.3 steals per game in his first season as a professional. Briscoe helped lead his team to the Estonia championship.
