Pendleton county star Dontaie Allen visited Kentucky on Wednesday and he committed on Thursday.
Allen, a 6-foot-6 wing from Falmouth, Kentucky, exploded onto the scene during the July evaluation period.
John Calipari watched Allen multiple times during the month of July and it didn’t take the UK coach long to fall in love with him with his game.
On Wednesday, Allen visited Kentucky unofficially for the second time this summer. Before leaving campus, the four-star must have picked up an offer from Calipari. He announced his commitment on Twitter Thursday.
Allen is the first in-state player to commit to Kentucky since Derek Willis and Dominique Hawkins in 2013.
