Immanuel Quickley sets official visits: 5-star guard eyeing September decision

Immanuel Quickley, a five-star PG and top 10 player in the 2018 class, scheduled three official visits for the month of September, including a trip a Kentucky.

Five-star point guard Immanuel Quickley plans to announce his decision prior to the start of his senior season at John Carroll School in Bel Air, Maryland. That looks to be even more likely, as the 6-3 guard announced the plans for three official visits.

Quickley will visit Kansas the weekend of September 2nd, Miami the weekend of September 9th, and follow those with a visit to Kentucky the weekend of September 16th.

Back in the spring, Quickley trimmed his list to Kansas, Kentucky, Miami, and Maryland. He will make his decision sometime after the three scheduled visits; however, he will most likely visit Maryland on an unofficial visit since they are close in proximity.

Kentucky is the heavy favorite for Quickley, owning 100% of his crystal ball selections on 247Sports.

Quickley created quite a buz earlier this week at the Peach Jam, when fellow five-star recruit Zion Williamson mentioned the two being a package deal. Williamson wants to play with Quickley and that looks like that will have to happen in Lexington.

Look for Quickley to make an announcement in late September before practice starts for his senior year of high school.
