John Calipari added another piece to the 2019-2020 puzzle on Friday when Johnny Juzang announced his commitment to Kentucky.

Juzang, a four-star wing from Studio City, CA., announced his commitment via his Instagram account. The UK commit is rated the No. 30 player in the 2019 class, according to the 247 Sports Composite rankings.

The 6-foot-6 forward was a member of the 2020 class until he announced a reclassification in April. Juzang’s ability to shoot the basketball is a need for the Wildcats next season, so he immediately became a priority for the Wildcats.

Calipari and Joel Justus visited Juzang in April and offered him a scholarship. He followed that with an official to Kentucky in late April and announced a final list that included Kansas, Oregon, and Virginia, in addition to Kentucky.

Juzang is the fifth member of Kentucky’s 2019 class, joining Dontaie Allen, Keion Brooks, Tyrese Maxey, and Kahlil Whitney. The Wildcats will also add Bucknell graduate transfer Nate Sestina.
