University of Kentucky President Eli Capilouto agreed to reduce his salary by 10-percent, according to a letter to the Board of Trustees.

Capilouto decided to give 10-percent of his 2020-21 salary to the employee assistance fund through UK’s Department of Human Resources. The fund is in place to help 1,700 UK employees furloughed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kentucky football coach Mark Stoops has already said multiple times that he’d be willing to sacrifice some of his salary to help UK during this time.
