The Kentucky duo of Leah Edmond and Madison Lilley has been all over the SEC weekly awards this season and this week is no different. This week, Edmond was named SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week, while Lilley was named Setter of the Week.

Edmond, a native of Lexington, Kentucky, registered 41 total kills in wins vs. Alabama and Auburn. Her 20 terminations on 36 attacks vs. Auburn was good enough for a .500 hitting percentage. The two matches of 20+ kills bring Edmonds season total to six matches of 20 or more. Committing just two errors, Edmond’s .500 hitting percentage is the second-highest percentage of the year.

Lilley, a native of Overland Park, Kansas, has been setting up the Kentucky offensive attack all season. For the week, Lilley totaled 91 assists to set the Wildcats up to the tune of 117 kills in the two wins. Her 43-assist performance vs. Auburn on Sunday marks the 13th time she has recorded 40 or more assists in a match this season and the third time doing it in a three-set match.

Edmond and Lilley have led the Wildcats to a 22-3 record on the season and a 13-1 mark in SEC play. The Wildcats return to action vs. Georgia on Friday, November 17. Match time is set for 7 p.m. at Memorial Coliseum.
