Kentucky forward E.J. Montgomery will miss his second game of the Big Blue Bahamas Tour Saturday night.
Montgomery, a 6-10 freshman from Fort Pierce, Fla., is dealing with a lower back issue. The injury kept him out of action during Kentucky’s 91-68 win vs. San Lorenzo Thursday night.
In his UK debut, Montgomery knocked down 4-of-6 shots to finish with eight points and six rebounds. Montgomery is listed as day-to-day.
Kentucky freshman guard Jemarl Baker is also out of action Saturday night with swelling in his knee. Kentucky fans were hoping to get their first look at Baker this week, but they will have until October.
UK Athletics announced that both will be out of action the rest of the trip.
