Dontaie Allen Scored 30 Points with John Calipari Watching
I know, I know, you’ve heard all about Dontaie Allen from myself and other UK writers, but he’s doing so much that it has to be talked about.
Allen is doing everything he can to earn an offer from Kentucky, the team he grew up cheering for. An offer doesn’t necessarily mean he chooses the Wildcats, but it’s something he would have to think about.

UK assistants Tony Barbee and Joel Justus have watched Allen at the Under Armour Challenge this week. UK head coach John Calipari joined them on Thursday and Allen put on a show.
The Peach Jam is taking place in Augusta, South Carolina, just three hours away from Cartersville, Georgia where Allen and his team are playing. Calipari has been in Augusta the last couple of days but made his way over to Cartersville to see what the fuss is about.

Allen scored 30 points on 11-of-15 shots, including 4-of-6 from three-point range, according to Ben Roberts of the Herald-Leader. He leads the UA Challenge with 28 points per game, an event that consists of 78 teams.
Something tells me that Allen will pick up that Kentucky offer by the end of the weekend, maybe sooner.
