John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats now have the No. 1 recruiting class for 2020 in the 247 Sports Team rankings, passing Duke for the top spot.
Earlier today, five-star point guard Devin Askew officially signed his letter of intent to play at Kentucky, as he reclassified from 2021 to 2020.
In the updated 247 Sports Composite player rankings, Askew is rated the No. 27 overall player and No. 7 combo guard in the class.
The move gives Kentucky five prospects in their 2020 class with Askew joining five-stars Terrence Clarke and Brandon Boston, as well as four-stars Lance Ware and Cam’Ron Fletcher.
To this point, UK has confirmed the signings of Askew, Clarke and Ware.
