Danny Clark Announces Plans to Transfer from Kentucky

Kentucky backup quarterback Danny Clark announced he plans to transfer. He made the announcement on social media Tuesday afternoon.

Clark, a 6-foot-2, 232-pound redshirt freshman, played in two games this season after sitting out last season.

With Terry Wilson only being a sophomore and Gunnar Hoak (sophomore) still on the roster, immediate game action isn’t available at Kentucky for Clark. Additionally, Kentucky already has two quarterback commits in the 2019 recruiting class.

“After thinking and praying about this for months, I have decided I will be furthering my education and football career at a different school in 2019,” Clark wrote on Twitter. “I have a lot to offer a team and I want to play for a school that fits my style of play more.”
