Kentucky senior linebacker Courtney Love is being honored and recognized for his work in the community with multiple award nominations. In October, Love was named to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team and was listed as a quarterfinalist for the 2017 Lott Trophy. November has been much of the same, as he has been added to two more watch lists.

Love, who is second on the team in tackles with 58, was named a Wuerffel Trophy Semifinalist, which recognizes college football’s top community servant. UK announced the news this morning, which comes after yesterday’s announcement that he was nominated for the 2017 Capital One Orange Bowl-FWAA Courage Award.

The winner of the 2017 Wuerffel Trophy will be invited to attend “The Home Depot College Football Awards Red Carpet Show” on ESPNU and ESPN3. The show will take place on December 7, 2017, at 6 p.m. ET.

The award itself will be presented to the winner on February 16, 2018, at the 49th Annual All Sports Association Awards Banquet in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

Love’s excellence on the field, the community, and the classroom is unmatched. He is one of the greatest young men you will ever be around and is very deserving of the nominations he is receiving.
