C.J. Conrad didn’t Allow the Coaches to Change the Final Play

Kentucky fans have wanted the coaching staff to get C.J. Conrad involved for four years, but on Saturday night in Columbia the UK senior called his own number.

 

With Kentucky trailing 14-9, the Wildcats had one final shot from the 2-yard line. Terry Wilson took the snap and hit Conrad for the game winning score as time expired.

 



 

According to Conrad, the coaches considered changing the play, but he refused to let that happen.
