Former Kentucky Wildcat Tyler Herro was one of the most talked about rookies during the NBA preseason schedule.
The 2019 lottery pick by the Miami Heat looked the part during NBA Summer League earlier this year and followed it with impressive performances in the preseason.
Herro has been so good that NBA TNT analyst Charles Barkley picked the former Wildcat to be NBA Rookie of the Year.
That’s high praise for Herro but certainly possible. Zion Williamson, who was clearly the favorite to win the award, will be out a couple of months recovering from a torn meniscus.
