John Calipari has made five-star recruit Zion Williamson a top priority in the 2018 class and the Wildcat head coach made a trip to Emerson, GA., to see the YouTube sensation play again.
Chris Watson spotted Calipari in attendance and tweeted it out.
Williamson and fellow five-star Immanuel Quickley created quite the buzz last week when the two mentioned being a package deal in college. Quickley recently scheduled his visits and is eyeing a decision before the beginning of his senior season.
Williamson and Quickley as early commitments would be huge for UK’s 2018 class. It looks as if Coach Calipari has zoned in on the five-star from Spartanburg, SC.
Also, a reminder that recent five-star PG Darius Garland will announce his top six schools tonight at 6:00 pm. Garland picked up an offer from Kentucky last weekend, so it will be interesting to see if the Wildcats make his final list.
