John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats received some unfortunate news before the season opener Tuesday night vs. Michigan State.
Kentucky’s top recruiting target, Cade Cunningham, announced his commitment to Oklahoma State.
For weeks, Kentucky was believed to be the leader for Cunningham. However, the 2020 five-star guard decided to take his talents to Stillwater.
Even with the loss of Cunningham, Kentucky’s 2020 recruiting class will be one of the strongest in the country. The Wildcats hold commitments from five-star wings Terrence Clarke and BJ Boston, as well as verbals from four-star forwards Lance Ware and Cam’Ron Fletcher.
Kentucky has a commitment from 2021 five-star guard Devin Askew, who will likely join Kentucky’s 2020 class after his high school season.
Five-Star guard Cade Cunningham just verbally committed to Oklahoma State. Massive news for Mike Boynton.
