Booger McFarland Took a Shot at Mark Stoops Coaching Ability

Kentucky linebacker Josh Allen was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the seventh pick in the 2019 NFL Draft to become the first UK player to be drafted since Bud Dupree in 2015.

Allen arrived at Kentucky as a two-star recruit but transformed into the National Defensive Player of the Year, while breaking the UK career mark for single season (17) and career sacks (31.5).

The former UK star has given Kentucky’s coaching staff credit for his development but ESPN’s Booger McFarland obviously hasn’t heard that message.

After Jacksonville selected Allen, McFarland had the following to say:

“He definitely can be elite and I look forward to him getting better coaching. Right now he is winning off pure athletic ability.”

What? That doesn’t make sense.
