Bam Adebayo is Training with Four-Time All-Star Rasheed Wallace

Miami Heat forward Bam Adebayo missed making the NBA All-Rookie team by a single vote. Josh Jackson of the Phoenix Suns made it with 45 points while Adebayo finished with 44 points.

Missing out on the All-Rookie team didn’t seem to bother him as he’s working on his post moves with an NBA champion. Rasheed Wallace, a former North Carolina Tar Heel and 16-year NBA veteran, posted a video of them going through post workouts.

Wallace played for six NBA teams during his 16 year NBA career. The four-time NBA All-Star helped lead the Detroit Pistons to the 2004 NBA Championship. Wallace was the No. 4 pick in the 1995 NBA Draft and he understands what it takes to have a long, successful career in the league.

Adebayo had a solid rookie season for the Heat, who selected him with the 14th pick in last summers NBA Draft. He appeared in 69 games for the Heat, including 19 starts, averaging 6.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 51 percent from the field.

De’Aaron Fox, Adebayo’s former Kentucky teammate, was also left off the All-Rookie team. Fox finished with 34 points.
