Through the first two months of the season, the Miami Heat are one of the top teams in the NBA Eastern Conference. The emergence of Bam Adebayo as a star is one of the biggest reasons why.
The former Kentucky Wildcat has been spectacular all season and continues to elevate his play on a nightly basis.
Most recently, Adebayo recorded his second career triple-double in a victory vs. the Dallas Mavericks. Down the stretch of a close game in overtime, Adebayo came up with the rebounds, blocks and dunks to help Miami pull out a tough road victory.
The 2017 lottery pick finished with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for his second triple-double in three games.
Adebayo’s recent success has him in the same company as LeBron James. He has posted four straight games with at least 10 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, tying James for the longest streak in Miami Heat history.
You’re doing something right statistically when you’re in the conversation with LeBron James. Check out highlights of Adebayo’s night below.
