Video of Ashton Hagans Surfaces, UK Releases Statement

A video of Ashton Hagans holding a wad of cash surfaced Saturday night.

The video Hagans posted to his Snapchat is a couple weeks old but Louisville media found it this weekend.

Hagans not playing at Florida yesterday wasn’t because of the video. UK has been aware of the video for weeks, according to a statement they released.

Tim Sullivan of the Courier-Journal tweeted the following statement from UK.

University of Kentucky spokesman says this video is dated and that its compliance department has already addressed the red flag raised by the large wad of cash in Ashton Hagans' hands. Further information, UK says, is protected by student privacy. Stay tuned. https://t.co/0l4SBROIG2
