EJ Montgomery and Tyler Herro Count Ashton Hagans with the 2018 Class
Kentucky’s 2018-2019 basketball roster is still in the process of taking shape, but it’s becoming more clear every day.
UK announced the addition of E.J. Montgomery on Monday, who committed to Kentucky on April 9th. Montgomery signed with the Wildcats in late April, but the university didn’t confirm the signature until yesterday.

Immanuel Quickley, Keldon Johnson, and Tyler Herro join Montgomery in the 2018 class, but one more name is expected to be added later this summer.
Ashton Hagans, the nations top point guard for 2019, committed to Kentucky on April 10th. He’s expected to make the jump to the 2018 class later this summer and it appears Montgomery Herro both expect that to happen.
Montgomery posted a picture in the gym and he tagged the 2018 class in the image. Included in that tag was Hagans. Herro did the same thing. The handle _.shifteam is Hagans.
The five-star guard will fit in perfectly alongside Quade Green and Quickley. A pass first point guard, Hagans will have shooters around him in Herro and Jemarl Baker. Not only is he good on the offensive end, but his defense is what he’s known for.
“It’s Championship or Bust” for Tyrese Maxey’s Goal at Kentucky
Kentucky’s 2018 class will arrive on campus the first week of June. Don’t expect Hagans to arrive that soon, but look for it to be sometime this summer.
