Joe Lunardi Updates NCAA Tournament Projections

ESPN bracketologist Joe Lunardi has updated his NCAA tournament projections to reflect the weekends results and the Kentucky Wildcats are still holding onto a No. 5 seed in the Midwest region.

Lunardi still has Kentucky destined for a first weekend trip to Boise, where they would take on Loyola-Chicago in the first round before facing the winner of Texas Tech and Vermont, a team Kentucky defeated in November.

The No. 1 seed in the bracket is Xavier and I think Kentucky fans would be perfectly fine with that. Also, Cincinnati is in the lower half of the bracket as a No. 3 seed and I’m sure Kentucky fans would love a shot at the Bearcats after Mick Cronin’s shot he took at Kentucky yesterday.
