Kentucky Remains in AP Poll

After needing overtime to defeat a below .500 Vanderbilt team and losing by nine points on the road at Missouri, the Kentucky Wildcats dropped to No. 24 in this week’s Associated Press Poll, making them the lowest ranked team from the SEC.

SEC teams joining Kentucky in this weeks poll are Auburn (No. 8) and Tennessee (No. 15). Ironically enough, Kentucky’s faces both of them over the next ten days.

It hasn’t been pretty but Kentucky has opportunities to climb or drop the next couple of weeks. A solid four-game stretch vs. projected NCAA tournament teams Tennessee, Texas A&M, Auburn, and Alabama will tell a lot about this team’s possible seeding position.
