Garner is rated a four-star by 247 Sports and Rivals, while Scout and ESPN list him as a three-star. Regardless of ranking, Garner is one of the best athletes in the 2018 class and the schools that join Kentucky on his list speak volumes about the type of talent he is.
Along with Kentucky, Garner included Alabama, Clemson, Louisville, Michigan, and Tennessee in his top six schools. Garner unofficially visited Kentucky back on July 14th and followed that up with an unofficial to Louisville the next day.
Recruiting analysts project Garner to be a cornerback at the collegiate level, but UK offensive coordinator Eddie Gran has been his primary recruiter in South Florida.
The fact that Kentucky is included amongst the five other schools on his list, is a testament to how far the program has advanced under the leadership of Mark Stoops. The Wildcats are in great position with Garner, who frequently tweets about Kentucky, and he hopes to make a decision prior to the start of his senior season.
